Every Somnaform pillow comes with a removable, zippered outer cover. This is the part that comes into direct contact with your pillowcase and body. For this reason, it is designed to be easily cleaned. In almost all cases, whether it's our organic cotton, Tencel™, or velour blend, the outer cover is fully machine washable. We recommend washing it in cool or warm water on a gentle cycle, and then tumbling dry on low heat or allowing it to air dry to prevent any shrinkage.

Once your specifications are finalized, your unique order is sent to our production queue.

Phase 2: Handcrafting & Production (3-4 Business Days): This is where the magic happens. Your digital blueprint is assigned to one of our master artisans. Over the next few days, they will perform all the necessary steps: precision CNC cutting of the foam core, meticulous measurement of fill materials, and expert hand-stitching of the inner and outer covers. This is the most time-intensive part of the process, as it involves careful, manual craftsmanship.

Phase 3: Quality Assurance & Curing (1-2 Business Days): Once assembled, your pillow isn't ready to ship just yet. It first goes to our dedicated Quality Assurance station for a rigorous 30-point inspection against your original blueprint. After it passes inspection, foam-based pillows undergo a 24-hour curing process in a climate-controlled room.
